Sunday, September 25 at 3 pm, we celebrated 74 years in ministry in South Dallas. Our guest preacher was Pastor Ben Dueholm. Refreshments followed and a good time was had by all.

Black History Program A Big Hit
Members of Mount Olive Lutheran Church under the leadership of Yarlette Bryant celebrated Black History month with a Sunday afternoon program. Thanks to all who participated. It was indeed a blessing.
NT-NL PLM Graduation
Mount Olive celebrated the graduation of Lakeesha Browne from the parish lay minister academy in January 2022. The PLM academy is a two year program where participants learn about the bible, theology and receive instruction on deepening our relationship with the Savior. Congratulations, Lakeesha.

Be encouraged in this season. Let us be grateful and thankful to all our first responders and medical professionals who are helping to keep us safe in these unprecedented times. This too shall pass! Look to God who is our antidote for all things present and to come.
Companionship Retreat A Success!
On June 22, 2019, congregational leaders gathered at CitySquare administrative offices for a retreat. We learned about the Companionship grant that has been extended to us and what it means to be a companion church. We were challenged and left with many take-aways. We look forward to debriefing regarding the retreat over a meal after Sunday service one Sunday soon.
